Can You Say White Rugs?
White Rug Cleaning Pompano Beach: Yesterday was a crazy day here in our rug plant, it seemed like most of the rugs coming in were white rugs. A lot of shags, Flakoti’s, and fine Tibetan pieces. And the part that wasn’t so surprising is that the majority of the pieces came from the Miami area. Our company Oriental Rug Care has been washing rugs for over 27 years now and I have to say we have really figured out a great formula for getting the best results for Rug Cleaning Pompano Beach, Florida. We get around 15 to 20 different styles of white carpets per week. People ask me how we clean white rugs. Naturally, my answer is, “carefully!” We have created a special formula that we have been using consistently for years now which breaks down the traffic oil patterns in the rug and removes the stains. Of course, when it comes to red stains from sources like wine and fruit juice we have a different application that we apply for removing the stains. One of the best parts of getting so many of these white rugs is that it is so rewarding to see the before and after images. Okay and of course to hear the OH’s and ahhs from customers when they pick up their rugs.
I want to share a recent happy customer story with you, I have blogged about it many times but we have a lot of customers that come up from deep down in Key West to bring their rugs to us for washing. I would like to think it is really to see us at the shop but the real reason is probably a combination that Ft Lauderdale is the second busiest cruise port in the world just behind Miami. Miami and Ft Lauderdale strongly compete for first place. Even when it comes to having the annual boat show, Ft Lauderdale wins each year. You see Ft Lauderdale’sinternational airport is right next to the Ocean, minutes away from the cruise port and Ft Lauderdale is also known for a large number of discount airlines. So getting a flight to NYC is never a problem, this type of flight is non-stop all day long. I guess this is why it is safe to guess that the vast majority of us down here are native New Yorkers, and some like myself, wish I was a snowbird. But I will keep enjoying the winter weather, when the summer comes you can hear me cry often because of the heat. So where was I in my story of cleaning white rugs, oh yea I remember! These two guys just bought a fully furnished home in Key West and the sale included the rugs. None of them were horribly expensive, but the white alpaca was and it was as soft as an alpaca is known for. Problem was, it was filthy and these guys were planning a long weekend in Ft Lauderdale to see some friends. We told them to get it here before Thursday at 5:00 pm when we do our dusting process for removing the dirt out of the rug and I promised that the rug would be ready for Monday morning to take back home. So guess what, they showed up and 5:05 on Friday morning. We made it the first rug to clean for the day. The end of the story was that the rug was snow-white again and soft. Monday morning at 8 am they were here waiting at the plant to pick up their rug. They were so happy that their friends that they were visiting later during the week brought us over a large rug to clean. Most of our business is thru referrals from our customers so this was just another success story.
